"We shine our light when we walk in purpose. If I shine my light and you shine your light, together, we will illuminate the way for those who can not see. Together we will bring the light of Christ to those who are lost." - Dr. Angela Butts Chester
I love how patient God is with us. No matter how many times we mess up, drop the ball, stubbornly refuse, or just don't have a clue, He gives us far more grace and chances to transform our lives than most of us are willing to give ourselves.
I’ve overcome a few challenges in my life – including cancer - and what others try to use to bring shame, I allow to shine. Why? Because it speaks to others how God can use them, the same what He is using me to make a difference in the world. No one has it all together all the time; there's no such thing as a perfect person (yep, including them..lol).
I share my life with others because they need to know that God can transform anyone's mess into a message of hope, perseverance, and faith.
